Removing wp-stats-php Infection From WordPress

Seems one of my blogs got hit with this recently and thanks to my anti-virus software I never knew about it until it was brought to my attention here. Anyhow there's some great info on how to remove the WP-stats-php infection here:

The most recommended fix is to upgrade your version of WP, it seems 2.3.3 is the most often hit with the wp-stats infection. If you notice a dramatic change in traffic suddenly on one of your blogs you could have contracted this infection and you need to look in your wp-content folder for a folder named 1, this is usually where your infection will reside.

I recommend checking all of your blogs as since finding out about one of my blogs having been infected this morning Vegas just found a second that has been infected as well

Yeah I went through and updated all my blogs to the newest version. It seems the wp-stat plugin doesn't work with 2.5.1. The page never loads for me

I really didn't want to upgrade to 2.5 because it gives me issues with some of my plugins but i'd rather drop a few plugins than get infected with this crap again
