    Digital vs Print Photography

Just seen some stuff from the new Nikon digital camera amazing!

Which leads me to ask how much longer will print photography be around?

I first was intrested in Photography when there was only Print... I remember the digital camera I used was when I did Co-op at a GM plant helping doing their daily news paper. I thought the camera was soooo sweet but it was one of the beasts you put the floppy disk in and it could hold like 6 pictures! PIMP!

Kodak shut down it's labs and factory to do with film manufacturing in Australia.

It will become a niche, for the hobbyist. Old schoolers and newbies wnating to cool.

Otherwise it'll be all about digital. Though people are wanting to get their favourite digital prints printed, but it's a completely different process.

Print is just so damn expensive now too... I mena you can pick up a decent little digi cam for 200$ or you can buy a disposable camera thats a 1 time use for about 15$ + the cost to get the images developed.
