Anyone care to tell what are out there and what do you recommend?
I'm not looking for to auto-submit.
I'm looking for something simple and easy to use where I can pre-fill forms so when I hit the submission page, the software would fill it accordingly. Then, I would just check if all is good before submitting manually. I wish to speed up the amount of time I spend submitting which is roughly between 1h30 to 3h depending which site carries which model, etc...
Note, I do not need it to make galleries or make reciprocal links and that sort of things. That is already done by hand. Thank you. :)

Check out Roboform. It can save tons of time.
There's a limited free version and a free Firefox plug-in.

Actually, the best option is probably Chameleon Submitter. Once you tweak it and get everything set right, it'll do exactly what you need.
On the downside, it's around $25 a month and might be a little overkill if you're just submitting to a handful of sites.
I think there's a free trial. It might be worth checking out.

I'm hesitating honestly because I'm only submitting to a dozen of sites as I submit non-standard galleries and it makes me think that investing into CS is an overkill with submissions to such a small amount of sites. I think most users submit to more sites than that before using CS. Thanks though.

Yeah, Chameleon won't save you much time if you have a small submit list. I dropped it when I cut my submit list down to 15-20 sites.

If you are only looking for the auto-fill option, Roboform is decent (but get the premium version, as you will very quickly use the available resources in the free trial)
Another option that would probably suit your purposes very well, is find somebody with an old version of GASS kicking around. GASS was in it's day the number 1 auto-submitter, and will allow you to create and save custom databases.
GASS was the forefather of Advanced Submitter, and even Chameleon Submitter ... and it worked very well.
Because of its obsolesce and the fact it is no longer supported by it's creators, you should be able to find it on a torrent site, or have somebody who's been around for a while, GIVE you a copy ...
The ability to create and save custom databases is what would draw me to it before Roboform ...

If you are just looking for a good form filler - check out Fireform. Its free and highly effective - i use it for my free site submits - a list of about 60 sites and it takes about 30-40 minutes.

My first ever submit was done using G.A.S.S. That was a long time ago. lol! I later switched to Advanced Submitter.

looks like I don't have gass on any of my old HDs... so if anyone still has it I would also appreciate it...

I think I got it on a CD somewhere ... When I am back in the office Monday morning, I'll look for it.
I used to submit to almost 400 sites with GASS .... took me better part of 2 hours a day ...
Even though 95% of my sales came from 5% of my submits, I still could not bring myself to dropping any submits ... you never know how many single sales could come from that oddball site you would never expect ...
I was very anal about my submits back then ... I emailed all of the sites I submitted to, and asked each of them for first, second, and third choices who they would like to be recip linked with, and did my best to accomodate them, hoping it would increase my chances of getting listed ... back in the day - when getting listed was luck of the draw ...
My efforts did land me quite a few partner accounts ... site owners were impressed I took the time to ask their input.
I would come right out and ask them what would give me the best chances of getting listed at their site(s), and if I thought the payoff would be worth it, I'd custom build a special template just to submit to certain sites ... ie: Beth (PK) told me straight up that she had a preference for purple and pink galleries that fit the look/feel of her site, and all I had to do was take the time to ask, and she freely volunteered this PRICELESS info!
Damn .... I should build a few galleries and see what kind of money I could make using my old-school tactics? even a half dozen sales a week would be worth it just to prove that there is still money to be made in TGP if you know how to play the game ... Deliberately avoid paid submits ... kind of a challenge to myself just to see what I would get ... Hmmmmmmmmm ....
Wheels are turning now ...
