One more thing, that was a good read.
He mentioned the Gamma Group.
For some reason he failed to mention one of the worst offenders for
Embedding Malware as far as ruining Biz for us.
Surfers got it once and quit surfing Adult sites!

I used to post about them a lot & try to get people to quit using them.
Then were a Sponsor Program just over the US boarder in Canada called GammaCash
and were part of Integrated Search Technology, same building & same phone numbers.
IST wrote the Malware and the Affils of Gammacash spread it at 15 cents per Toolbar Embed.

The worst one was called XXXtoolbar, I know most remember that piece of Shit.
They changed it every week & if you didn't know how to get rid of it you had a major prob.
(Look up XXXtoolbar in Google Search)
The XXXtoolbar changed your start page to Coolwebsearch.com and
someone named Merijn Belcome in Scandinavia wrote a program called
CWshreader to get rid of it. He also wrote HighJackThis and a few more goodies.
GammaCash AKA IST finally had to stop installing unwanted software on users computers
(Malware & Spyware) when a complant was filled with the FTC. (Federal trade Commission)

They also got 2 more of ISTs partners in Fuck Over Surfers Inc
called Internet Optimizer & QuickLinks
