We just moved from Bucks County just north of Philadelphia back to Austin this weekend. We drove my wife's car, big 24" budget truck, and my car the whole way in two days...

Needless to say we didn't factor in a freak snow storm hitting the Tennessee area. So the first days 12 hour drive was pretty easy. The second day turned into a 20 hour drive trying to navigate back roads around a closed interstate. Just glad both our cars were all wheel drive :)

Anyway, it was a welcome site to see a beautiful Texas sunset after 2 days of rain and snow, happy to be back home in Austin :) I've never seen either car so dirty, covered in salt, sand, mud, oil, everything lol :giggle:

I love me a road trip, but moving sure does suck glad you made it home safe!

I managed to get the car by myself, my wife and her mom with with the dogs, and her dad drove the truck :)

Don't like the move to the supercharged v6 :(

I've never driven that far. The most I've ever driven is from Phoenix to San Fran, which is a long day's drive. Never done the cross country thing.

Wasn't the best trip ever, but it's worth it being back in Austin. Sunny and 75 today :D
