Only things that bothered me was McCain kept going back to quotes and he kept using the same ones over and over and over and his BS about how everything comes back to Iraq and you have to win that war to then fight and win the other wars!

Obama seemed to speak well other then when he went um um um um um.. and then would start talking... McCain did the same thing I guess but he just gave the camera the everlasting glaze for about 10 seconds before he would talk I could not help but laugh every time he did it.

Obama also has to stop agreeing with McCain and saying Senator McCain is right with ________ - Just bring it back up and make mention of it like McCain did don't give them the satisfaction that you are agreeing with everything he says and act as if you are not your own leader not once did McCain "agree" with Obama if that makes sense.

Umm, Obama kept saying when I am President. But here is my argument. Does he not sound like "The Rock" I would vote for him in a heart beat! He is also very smart. I'm voting OBAMA!

I love how they never manage to answer the original question, whatever it may be... "to respond to what my opponent mentioned 3 hours ago" ... "that was taken out of context, here's what really happened". I enjoy politics, but I personally hate the debates for that reason

I am watching it now, had it on about 10 minutes and I hate to say it but they are both making good points. I gotta say draw so far.

I think McCain came on strong in the second half and won. But just barely. Obama is just abysmal without a teleprompter. The only thing accomplished in this debate was reassuring me that we have no real hope for the change this country need with our next president.

Drudge poll said that McCain won.

%68 to %30 but we all know that the only numbers that matter are in November at this point. Even then the numbers are not always as they seem as we now know.

So bascially what your saying is it depends on the source and who they are voting for.... Which is so wrong it pisses me off.

I'm not going to vote either way so frankly I don't care who wins. I didn't watch all of it, but from little I did watch McCain ran over Obama. McCain was talking about pork barrel projects and how Obama pushed through $932mil worth of them, nearly "one million dollars for every day he's been in office". And Obama, instead of defending himself, got walked on.

I also think that McCain just plain looks old while Obama looks young.

It will be an intersting few months!

McCain did have some good moments but so did Obama. When he went off on McCain on Iraq and was like, "You were wrong about this, and you were wrong about that, and you were wrong when you said this..." He went on and on naming everything he McCain had been wrong about the war and it was great to hear it be said.
