Animated buttons on Galleries

Do you look down on the use of animated buttons on galleries? I mean like the big flashing Red and Black "Come see My 9 page Tour!" type buttons.

I never use animated buttons on my galleries, I just think it makes it look tacky and cheap. :confused:

I swear by animated buttons. The last gallery I ran had a CTR that ended up around 10%, probably because of some good text and an eye catching animated button. Tacky? Eh as long as the gallery still looks good and all the rules are followed I don't see what's wrong with trying to make some money. After all, isn't that why we're here?
