another TGP/gallery newbie question

Are there more or less rules for building and submitting galleries to TGP's vs. free sites and link lists?

i.e. w/ free sites, most link links require warning, main, 2 galleries, 20-30 pics, max. 3 sponsor links, etc.

Is there a basic rule to follow for galleries (the obvious)

I will, obviously, look at the TGP's rules before building but I figured I'd ask away hear and get some feedback or pointers that I may miss.

there are no set rules for TGPs, every site has its own rules, but there are some basic ones that apply almost always.

15 thumbs minimum,
large pix open as jpgs and are not on .html pages.
2 (or 3) links out to sponsors
recip is required (varies of course)
no free hosts
no reference to "next" "gallery 2" etc
no reference in source code to "illegal terms"

check out the sites and see what is getting listed.
go half way down the page and look.
