Christmas Get Togethers!!

Have our first one of the year tomorrow!!

The wifes family is coming down to our place.. well some of her family, parents and one of her sisters but we still have to entertain them!

I dont mind a small group like that but I hate the big grop gathering, will have to only do that once this year but have about 3-4 small things to go to! UGH!

How about you? How many gathers and all that will you be going to this year?

I'm not really sure. One corporate christmas party next week and I'm not really supposed to travel more than an hour away the week after that, so I'm not sure if we are going to go visit brian's family for christmas or if his parents are coming here. Should be pretty low key either way.
I enjoy christmas gatherings, miss my family a lot this time of year.

I can only stand about 4 to 5 hours of family get togeatheres , after a lil wine or alcohol sumthing gets brought up argue an usually dont talk till new years or sumthin

I have a Christmas party to go to next week. Then I'm free for about a week until it is time to pack and head to Toronto for a week to spend Christmas with more family.

Went to Indiana to visit my family for Thanksgiving. Christmas will just be me, my wife and daughter.

I'm already here waiting for everyone else to come visit lol. I miss my extended family this time of year and wish we could do a huge get together but the expense in flying back to the UK gets a bit too much after so many people lol

I hate it when it's like seven people or more. It's just a waste of time and money in my opinion. There would be too many people and at times, one would be left out so there's no fun. Though, whenever it happens, I always wish it to last like 4-5 hours but at the end, it lasts more than that all the time. :(

In contrary, I like it when we're at most four people. Good dinner, good drink, fun jokes and memories and then at the end, we enjoy a good movie or television show if there's anything nice to watch or we just sit down right there and hang around chatting or playing games. :)

i am spending a nice 2 weeks with andrea´s family... and as nice as they can be, 2 weeks with your mother in law???

there i will spend a dinner with some friends of my dad that i know since i was little. and my family i dont see until january, but then they really dont really care for the holidays, and claim every time i come over holiday time, so thats cool:)

also have a dinner with some friends.

so 3 gatherings i guess for christmas. Then comes new year, and then 3 kings... pfff!!!
