Woke up yesterday and turned on my computer.. Much to my dismay did I get the Asus bios screen (Something I'd never seen before) and then "ERROR, BIOS HAS FAILED"... Err, that's not good. So I proceeded to reconfigure my system and then save and exit... Locked up solid.. :(

Next time I turned the computer on the Asus voice message comes on "Computer has failed" .. Well ain't that fucking handy, care to give me a little detail? :(

Next time I booted up, I got a No CPU Present error message... Oh nice.

Next time, I got a "Overclocking failed" error.. Oh this is fun.

And so on and so forth. Different errors every time I booted up basically.. Soooooo, thankfully today I was able to grab a new power supply from the local "computer store" (I use the term loosely) and slapped it in.. Soon as I booted up I got a bios has failed message... But after I set it up it proceeded to boot no problem. Here's to hoping that was the problem and I'll be back online... Fuck I hate computers!

you should of tried jumping the jumper to clear the cmos and see if it would of fixed it instead of swapping powersupply

Think that would have stopped the smell of burning rubber coming from his power supply?

I have this reoccuring imagery of computers being tossed out the windows of office towers downtown by cubicle people who have finally lost it. I am surprised you don't hear of this everyday.
