And I have to say... I was damn impressed. It told a lot more of the back story, hell about half the movie was dedicated to Michael Meyers as a child.

Still had some awesomely brutal death scenes mixed into a well written story.

it looks pretty good from trailers and such, its one of the few horror movies I may actually bother to check out.

I was wondering how he was gonna do it , just a strait remake or deviate a lil...As usual ill wait for the DVD but this is prob the only remake Im gonna bother watching..

The only other remake I liked was Dawn of The Dead they did a good job with that too

I wanted to see it yesterday but I was just too tired. I am hoping maybe Friday I can go see it. The kids want to go see it to. How bad is it? I'm not in to taking my kids to see movies like this unless I've seen them first. But, they are getting older now. But, if there's a lot of sex I get to feeling all creepy and shit sitting there with my kids.
