The snap of Lara Coton - taken on a family holiday when she was just 14 - was being used by US adult entertainment firm TVX Films for Body Magic.
TVX Films claims it was entitled to use the picture because Lara had put it in the ''public domain'' but has agreed to change the cover.

1. It's fucked up that they're using a pic of a 14 year old.
2. It's fucked up that they're using a pic of someone that's not in the movie.
3. It's fucked up that these people are in business.

Wouldnt the fact that she was 14 at the time of the picture automatically make them required by law to remove all copies of the DVD from shelves and remove her picture from the cover or face charges? It shouldnt matter that she isnt actually starring in this movie, using an underage person to promote adult content is illegal as well right?

It's sick and it's wrong but does that make it illegal?

As I understand it, the 14 year old could be in the movie and even in a room where sex was happening just as long as she wasn't involved in any sexual acts, wasn't showing her stuff and wasn't performing any lude acts.

Like I said, it's wrong and it's sick but that doesn't mean it's illegal.

If I was the girl's father, I'd find way to hurt these guys. If I was a friend of the girl's father I'd do the same.

I guess your right. I just figured using the image of a 14 year old on the cover, basically as the whole focus for selling the movie would be breaking some kind of law.

Youre right, it is wrong and sick and I would definately make some heads role.

It's an awesome photo, but someone at some point removed her copyright watermark from the photo and called it Public Domain--that's just sleazy. And the company's response is reprehensible.

the pic is awesome though.

Sad reply though:
"THEY ARE REMAKING THE COVER AS WE SPEAK SO YOUR TEN SECONDS OF FAME WILL SOON COME TO AN END."
