btw Asuna, I went through the same crap a week or so ago while moving to my new apartment, what a horrible experience and it took 4 technicians and hours of time wasted on the phone with the cable company but FINALLY got it straightened out and I am so happy to be back online!!

Cable companies suck. I was given a 5 hour window I must remain home and he was 2 hours late (when I moved). If I didn't have readily access to my home, I would have been screwed.

I've lived all over the country and this county has the most expensive and worse cable possible. 70 channels alone is 87.95/month There is some kind of agreement my community has with them and my balcony isn't facing South were the damn sats are so I can't even get direct TV.

I exhuasted all options and I'm dealing with my over-priced crappy ass cable. Just a few months ago at my last dwelling I received 400 channels for less money. Total BS!!!!!!

No maxkit, I only have 70 channels now. What these asshats did is broke all of the channels up into packages to you have to buy an extra 100 channels to get 1 good one. I kept it basic, I'm not paying for 50 golf channels and 1 good movie channel. I get no HD channels (hello? the reason I got an HDTV)........ It F'ing sucks. I basically leave it on E!, TMC or Court TV all day. I don't watch TV much but I ALWAYS NEED TO HAVE IT ON, if that makes any sense??!!

Most times, I'm content just to hear the hum of the computers, my cat chasing her imaginary playmates, and outside noises. Other times, I'll turn the TV on in another room or have music playing in the background. It's just noise to me, but it has to be in the background.
