Mike, don't go with dreamhost if you want your sites to available. And defiantly don't go with them if you want to run anything dynamic that might take up some processor speed.

Hello!

Yes I do, they're pretty poor, there is a reason they're that cheap.

The good think however is that their billing system is fucked, so by downgrading my plan every 4/5 months I've not paid anything in over a year.

lol, well I ended up paypalling them, and the year cost like 20 bucks or so with the promo code, so I dont expect that much.

I'll just be chucking up a few blogs so we'll see...

If you're on one of the higher plans, then after a couple of months downgrade to a plan below. When I did this, it worked out the difference over the previous months that I would have been saving had I been on the lower plan, and then credited it to my account, giving me 3ish months free hosting.

Then ad the end of this free hosting, I did it again and even though I hadn't paid for 3 months, it worked out the difference for all of the time I'd been hosting with them if I'd been on the lower plan, then credited that again...

naw I just took the monkey low plan to test em out. I doub any of the sites will get more than 1k a day so fingers crossed it wont be too shit.

Oh and have you installed awstats or similar on any of your dreamhost sites?
