So I took the kids to see it yesterday. I wasn't planning on seeing it at all because this guy I thought had to be the worst pic for a James Bond they've made. However, I have seen some descent reviews of his job as Bond so I thought I'd give it a try.

We get to the theater about 10 minutes before the movie starts. There were maybe 10 other people in the theater. A few more showed up but for the most part it was way too empty. After about 10 straight previews they start the movie. All in all I have to say I am ok with him being Bond now. I still think they should have either left Remington Steel as Bond or gone with Clive Owen but whatever.

I don't know how to describe the new bond. He came across as someone who had to work hard to get where he is. Where maybe being so smart didn't come so easily. That he has to work at knowing the things that he does. More human maybe is the right way to describe him. But, as much as I didn't want to like Craig as Bond, I couldn't help but root for him. He's much more tuff guy then other bonds in a way. He's not dumb but I get the feeling he'd rather beat the info he needs out of you rather than out smart you.

The movie itself was way too long and I thought it was over like three different times and then it started back up again. It reminded me of the last Lord of the Rings movie. I thought that damn thing would never end. But, the movie was interesting just too long.

I loved Casino Royale.

The last Bond movies were becoming a special effects crazyness, with invisible cars, surfing giant waves, etc...

This one is much closer to the original Bond and much better in my opinion.

I saw it with my wife on Friday and we both thought it was one of the best if not the best Bond movie. It didn't seem too long to me.

I loved it. Of course i'm biased because my wife was in it. Remove the bias and i still think it was a pretty damn good movie. Very entertaining and i really like him as Bond (which in this case i'm not biased at all because I want to hate him since my wife has nothing but great things to say about him).

hrmmmmmmm I posed on here earlier but it poof disappeared... as I was saying, a certain TV/Celeb site rated it in the top "whatever" for having the most "bloopers"/"goofs" in one movie. They were little things, but some were so obvious, it would be like replacing "bond" with Carrot top for a few minutes hoping nobody would notice.

I know Sean C. is older, but I still think he should have come back to make one last movie... the older he gets, the hotter he gets. It's the way he carries himself and the deep voice and sexy accent don't hurt!

i liked it alot. I like that they made Bond into an action hero, not some fancy pants with the glimce in his eyes like the rest of em.

The script is another 'story' though, nothing new under the sun there really.

over all, one good bond movie!

I have to admit I am so glad that so many people liked it. When I heard they were going with Criag instead of almost anyone else I was pissed off. Nobody outside the people who made the movie wanted him to be bond but a few people have gone to see it and most of them didn't want to like it either but almost everyone I know now just loved it. It wasn't an easy task they had overcoming everyone's attitude at the new bond. But, I give them credit. He makes a good bond. More of a tuff guy like Connery was.
