DENVER, Colorado (AP) -- A 15-year-old girl can enter into a common-law marriage in Colorado, a state appeals court ruled Thursday. Younger girls and boys may also be able to marry.

So I guess Colorado is the new Pedo state?

That's bullshit, A girl should be 18 before she can be allowed to get married.

What I don't understand is... it wasn't all that long ago people were married/having kids at 13-14 years old and now suddenly society sees that as unacceptable. Not saying I condone it or anything, hell I don't think people should be allowed to marry before they turn 25 but what happened that made the world suddenly decide turning 18 suddenly made someone an adult? I didn't wake up the day I turned 18 and some lightbulb went on and suddenly I had a clue or anything.

I guess it's just a christian push to make all these young kids having babies out of wedlock be allowed to get married in the proper christian way so the world isn't so full of heathenous bastards.

By making it law they'll also decrease the average age of divorce.

Before people hit 30 they'll have about 3 marriages behind them.

Objection you honor! lol... It's should not be allowed to marry at the age of 15. They're too innocent for that.

Before people hit 30 they'll have about 3 marriages behind them.exactly why I think people shouldn't be allowed to marry till they're at least 25. Last I heard 50% of marriages ended in divorce, the numbers may have changed but that's just ridiculous. 50% ? No one respects marriage anymore, I really don't get people sometimes

geez.. at 15 i could barely choose what i wanted to wear.. let alone make the decision to marryyou could be 35 and still have that issue, you're female. Those types of decisions never come without 3 hours of trial and error attire changes ;)
