Yes this is my first post, I wasnt going to join and post anything but there is so much great reading here that I just had to drop a line to everyone that post.

I am new to the submitting game, I heard how great teh auto submitters were but I didnt understand why my traffic numbers are horrible. Well I found some great threads here that showed me a BUNCH of mistakes I am making, the first thing I am doing is turning off the auto submitter, that thing is out the window.

Second thing I will do is make my own list of TGPs to submit to, I found that reading has been my best freind in the adult industry. I found the secret on another board that I have seen shemp on heard is traffic was great and wanted to bookmark his partner account page, stumbbled over to here and glad I did.

I have 2 PA accounts that I am greatful for you hear alot of things about you got to have PA to get anywheres I have heard not a bad word about Shemp so I wanted to check everyday til he reopened for paid accounts.

I see the big thing is with an auto submitter you really dont get the one on one with the owner like you do by going to their board and reading what they like.

I found a few things that the Shemp likes I found some things he doesnt like, so am going to start building galleries to hand submit through the submission page and hope I dont break any rules that he has in place.

I am new to this but am learning, in time I will get better

I have a few questions that am going to post here to see if anyone can help me out a little

Now that I got rid of the auto submitter and I will be working by hand

My main question is how do I find out who the big TGPS are for traffic?

I have one single sponser but they have numerous sites, should I pick one site and work with that or should I try and do different sites in the same niche?

How many TGPs can you hand submit to in a day with practice?

I am starting to see why that you need to build from the ground up one partnership at a time read every line of the owners rules, understand and ask questions if not sure, and if you disagree with the rules or listing policies move to another TGP.

I can get very long winded and will stop here for now

BUT I am seeing why the Shemp is so popluar around the net, Not only is he straigth forward but he is fair.

Thanks for any help with building a small database for hand submitting

I dont have any real samples to show YET
but I am willing to work hard and learn from the people around me

Welcome here. Let me start:

My main question is how do I find out who the big TGPS are for traffic?

Heres a good start:

Although MANY of them have gone paid and/or not giving partner accounts.

Also, I think you've missunderstood one thing.
Submitters, per se, are not bad (Rob may disagree...). Blindly using the auto sub feature WITHOUT knowing what you're doing is what's bad and may get you in trouble.
You can use the submiter in manual mode ;)

Welcum to Shemps Place & MP. http://www.icando4u.com/smile/wave2.gif

Before you even begin submitting to TGP and MGP sites, you need to learn to build galleries that will get listed and will get click-thru's to the sponsor. Once you have the basics down, then start submitting.

Get a submit tool such as Advanced Submitter. This tool will aide you in your submissions. There is also a default database included that will give you a place to begin. You can also purchase a database. Over time, you then want to work on building yourself a custom database.

Do not purchase partner accounts and/or apply for them until you know exactly what you are doing. What sponsor(s) is working for you as well as what template(s) are working.

Before you decide on a sponsor(s), you need to decide which niche(s) you want to promote. Choose something that you personally have an interest in, you enjoy, and/or know something about. It will be a lot easier for you to write the text and get inside a surfers head.

You should promote more than one sponsor. Some TGP sites only allow 1 gallery per day per webmaster, where as other sites will allow 2 or more galleries per day per webmaster. You also do not want to place all your eggs in one basket. If a sponsor offers more than one site, pick a site that interests you and promote that site for awhile. Talk to your affiliate rep, see what advice they can offer. Get as much information as you can to make an educated decision on which site within that program you want to promote and what traffic sources work the best.

Do not forget to submit to the medium and smaller less known sites. Just because a site is a major traffic pump, does not mean that your galleries and or sponsor will perform well with that particular site. There are also many hidden gems within these other sites. Many times, it will be much easier to get listed on these sites as well.

Panky has yet again sumed it up very well
Once you have obtained a few pa acounts and can make a roi this page is a good start for buying pa http://www.submitpasses.com/
If I was starting out again I would buy the richards-realm one and perhaps the frenchcum one.
http://www.paidspots.com/ is also worth a look
http://ranks.sextracker.com/spn.html?cls=ranks&cat=Universe&pg=0-0.html
When you submit to many sites you will see some sites only like 2 links to sponsors some are more relaxed so you can just group your recips along those lines.
One worthwhile thread is

Thanks all for the warm welcome, andrewest I have richardsrealm and krawl I also have done reading at the hun asked for one review and he said he likes my gallery so I am waiting for the approval he is 11 days away from when I submitted.

I guess what caught my eye more then anything else was Shemp saying he was doing a recip check and how bad that some of them can be and blind links and stuff like that.

Panky as for my one sponser I feel very safe as they came as a referral from some one around for a long time, I will add more sponsers as I grow am sure.

Then I was reading another thread about how submitters cheat, and stuff like that so I figured I would take the same approach I built a very profitable main stream business on and thats one or two partnerships at a time, alot of slow networking, alot of learning, and I dont have to start with just the big guys.

I have been reading and learning galleries and freesite tutorials and submitting since Nov off and on. The freesites are a breeze now, I have a nice group for the niche and I see results, Galleries are a little harder for me, not so much to build but I got in the habit early to just use autosubmitter blind, and I see it more like I did with teh freesites, first I submitted to 6 then 12 then 18 and so on I read every rule, followed through made notes and I have had more success.

The galleries I build them and run them through a auto submitter, never looked at a single rule, if it didnt auto submit I skipped it, heard how horrible the traffic and sales were, so I just basically didnt put an effort in

I am quickly learning that traffic is traffic some is good some is bad, some places have better, so a little less, BUT as the salesmen it is my job to convert the lookers into buyers, which means I need to learn how to convert them better each day.

Also as a SALES person, thats right I see it as SELLING porn. It is a numbers game, the more people see your stuff the more will buy on average. So I might be able to use the auto submitter later for now I am going to find some TGPS all different sizes read their rules, figure out what is the average outbound links 2257 count or not, and slowly develop a solid database of places willing to work with my style. Instead of just going at it blindly.

My whole goal changed I wanted to build a business when I first got into this stuff, what I have come to realize is that after 18 years of being in business what I really wanted was a hobby that I could build like a business, fill up some of that spare time of not having to work 20 hours a day, and by changing my outlook I have done alot better.

So I really appreciate the warm welcome, I will be around and do more reading and listening, applying suggestions, and enjoy the ride.

Shemp thanks for having such a great place to learn for a new guy like myself

Every now and then good karma flows our way and we are rewarded with sales for our contributions.

Thats the way to do it. Try to hook up with some people that are also new and willing to learn and work hard. Help eachother etc. and in a year (or two) you`ll have a network of friends in this business.

So true. The most important part of building galleries.. your sales text.

Try not only to focus on the quantity, quality is just as important. Build hubs, portals etc for your niche. Establish link trades with other sites in your niche and optimize your galleries for keywords that fit the niche.
