She's been crowned "Miss Positive" and not just for having a good attitude. Svetlana Izambayeva, 24, won Russia's first beauty contest for women with HIV.

Sucks when one mistake can ruin your whole life. It's a good thing she's keeping a positive outlook.

hey.. in a way.... oh I don't know.

I've had so many friends over the last 20 years drop dead that any kind of happiness would rock.

but then.. I see all these drug companies trying to push the idea that if you seroconvert you can still have an amazing body and be happy and healthy if you'll just live forever on their magic drugs. How many full page ads have we seen featuring hot men climbing mountains and surfing that are for HIV meds?

oh man.. I'll be in the corner trying to decide what I think is a good idea...

As long as you're on drugs the world is fine...in fact, some drug commercials make me wish I had certain diseases because they portray the people having so much damn fun on the drugs that control it. If I had some Lipator, Viagra, Wellbutran, Vioxx, my life would be so bitching awesome.

Unfortunately, no concrete cure discovered or released for these people yet. :(

OH dude.. there will most likely NEVER be a cure.

Drug Companies make too much money keeping people alive and not curing them. One of the may things I've learned.
