What is this and how do I protect against it?

I have Zone Alarm, McAfee, SpySubtract, Ad-Aware SE, Spybot search and destroy, Firefox, Avant browser.

Nothing seems to stop this shit from popping up.

It comes up on a few other sites. I just ran my anti-virus full scan and came up with all kinds of junk. It may have been somthing that I aquired somewhere else, and when I went to Alpha thumbs, might have just popped up.

I think my system is clean now, but will check out spy sweeper just the same.
Thanks.

How do you stop it? Try clicking "no"

the fact that it popped up means that your system didn't just go ahead and run it... so what are you worried about?

I didn't run it, it just kept popping up on different websites that I went too. Thought I said that already...

The problem, is when it pop's up, it stops all surfing. I can x out of it, but then have to do a system restart to go back to surfing.

Of course I'm not going to run it!!! What were you thinking. It's a trojan or a side affect of a trojan which my Anti-virus has failed to pick up. I had to run a full system scan to get rid of it, but it's only time before I visit another site and have the shit popping back up again. That's the problem, and that's why I asked if there was a program to stop it.

All those random letters at the top is russian for "Would you like a free real doll" so obviously you want to press YES.

on a serious note, I've never seen that one myself. Do you use a hardware firewall as well, like in a router? You should. I find they're much better than Zone Alarm. I like trying to stop the problems away from my PC, not by my PC.

I'm running on ISDN and don't have a hard ware option for a firewall at the moment. I just had this shit come up when I took the computer off line. It just popped up, and I wasn't even sitting there. Mind you,.... I just did a full system virus scan an hour ago.
