post 1000!!!

Thank you thank you.... please, all donations should be sent through paypal when ever possible :D

Anywho, as for where I've been....
I just got back from the vet. It turns out that my cat has bladder/urinary problems and needs to be operated on.
They gave me a quote on it, and for the 1 nights stay (despite the fact that he'll most likely need 2 nights plus other stuff) and the quote was over $600.
I can't wait to see what the total bill is after all is said and done if they figure it'll be $600 at the least.

Oh yeah... yay.... 1000 posts :help:

Yeah, that's the thing... $600 is no real big deal... or more, I'll pay it no problem.

It's just.... it seems rather excessive to me. Especially $5k... sheesh.

But, medicine is medicine... makes me think I should change career paths.

Welcome to the board by the way.

I got the same prenouncement for my rottie..hip replacement, left then right. Two batches over 7,500 bucks total. He's almost 10 though, and that's old for a rottie, don't think I would subject him to all that unless it was a life or death thing. There is a drug you get from horse trainers call herbasisin (sp?) that helped him greatly before with the arthritis and HD.

Yep, he's fixed.... poor thing... he's gonna die a virgin. I kinda felt bad about that but hey... what can ya do?

Anyway, I heard from the vet last night. Apparently the operation was successful and my cat is doing ok. But they have to keep him today to take out the device they put in, and to monitor him to make sure he's urinating normally through out the day and stuff.

Let me tell you though... after roughly 1.5 years with my kitty.... my apartment SUCKS without him. It's amazing just how quiet and weird my apartment feels without him around now.

I can't wait for him to be able to come home :D
