Good stuff....
it reminds me of a letter I wrote after the 9/11 incident...

I sent it off to family and a few people I knew. Next thing I knew, I had icq people in Australia messaging me asking if I was the same person that wrote it.... my email was circling the globe and I didn't even realize it. I never said in the letter to forward it or anything.

My mom, in Michigan (yes, I'm in Vancouver Canada) said that her husband's secretaries heard it on the radio. They heard it, and started telling him about it... and he said "hey, I know that letter... my wife's son wrote that!"

Was really strange... a good feeling, but strange. I've had a few things published here or there, but never anything like that.
