Please don't move this to the business section, I'm going to make a more in depth post once I have set my blog a little better in a few days

ok, so since thumblogger went down I tried to start re-upping a lot of my blogs on another free host just to test out the waters. It looks like something is seriously wrong because I cannot get hardly and SE traffic to anything I set up. It's like Google has banned my content or something.

Right now I am in pretty bad shape financially and even worse than that I am losing my sense of security. I am wondering if it is possible to still make money in blogs.

I have set up a hosted domain and it's still in the building fase. This is all I have right now, still need to set up templates and sidebars on them.

I'm going to get LO set up very soon. I can set up about 15-20 posts a day of new stuff. I might be able to do up to 40-50 on some days. I don't want to reuse my old content because I just don't think it's going to pull many views. Later I will reuse it with new posts but right now I am trying to prove to myself that I can still earn a living at this.

I am hoping to go from 0 sales to 5 sales a week by the end of next month. If I can't do that I'm going to be in trouble.

You have to stop relying on just one form of traffic generation that hopefully leads to sales. You have been following this pattern for years and it has bitten you in the ass every single time.

Sure, get back into blogging, especially using your own paid hosting and not relying solely on free hosts and directories. But you also need to branch out a bit more. Build freesites, TGP galleries, a hub page(s), tube site(s), use social media, social bookmarking sites, sites like Tumblr and Stumble Upon, constantly update your own site to keep Google interested... Use every resource you can find to dump your links out there.

If you can write, write an eBook and sell it to people who want to get into promoting online porn but have no idea where to begin or what to look for.

So let me get this straight: For the past 3 years at least, on this forum alone, people have been warning you that using a free host will eventually fuck you over one day. You don't listen and that day finally comes, so what do you do, you go to another free host??? Brilliant.

If your blogs are exactly the same as the ones you had on thumblogger, you need to go into Google Webmaster Tools and tell them they moved. Otherwise, your basically just starting from scratch & it takes about 6 months for Google to pick your blogs up and for you to know if they are working or not. Has Thumblogger even been down for 6 months?

Why would you not use your old stuff?? That is the first thing I would have done is moved it all to a new site then told Google it moved. How are you expecting to get the same SEO on different content???

Google HATES blank pages, remove all your stupid Sample Pages, and you probably want to come up with something better as a title than the WP default of Just another ... Site.

I don't think it would be worth it to do that with my old content because I was already having big SE traffic issues before TB went down. I don't have any confidence in using my old blog posts unless maybe I do a 50/50 old posts with new posts. Tb has been down for almost 2 months, maybe a little longer.

These new sub-domains are still being built, they are not ready for trades yet. I'm just trying to get some advice.

Ok, so why are you complaining about Google acting like your sites are banned? If you're having SEO Problems before, and you're doing the same thing as before, why on Earth would you expect anything to be different this time?

What does being ready for trades have to do with Google? Google doesnt' give a shit if your site is ready for trades or not. Most people don't even trade links anymore, so it's pointless to worry about that.

My suggestion is at least finish one site before you move on to the next one. You have only 5 blogs (which most people could do in 1 day or 2) none of which are finished, and you're asking why Google isn't ranking you well? In your opinion, do you think people looking for what's on your blogs are hoping to find unfinished sites with blank pages & links to Wordpress? I doubt Google thinks they are looking for that either.

What exactly are you complaining about and need help with?

No, I mean none of my other blogs are ranking well. Even new stuff on other free hosts are getting less than 1 SE hit a day per sub-domain.

For the fucking love of God, stop using free hosting. If one of the biggest most successful adult free hosts just up and quit, why in the hell would you ever think that others will stick around?

Maybe other people using your free host are a bunch of blackhatters or spammers and your free hosts ips are banned.

I'm just trying to get some advice.

What advice are you after?

The advice that's been given to you before seems to have been ignored.

At least you are on the road to recover with your own hosted domain.

For sure that's one positive though that road is about 10000 miles longer now than it would have been 3-4 years back when we all told him that this day would come!

Are you guys getting good SE traffic on your hosted blogs or has the new Google changed hit you hard? It seems like everyone is having a hard time getting traffic.

Don't be a jerk.

Don't be a jerk.

Don't be a thick skulled boner who keeps asking about hosted blogs on a forum that has been telling you to stop relying on hosted blogs for the last 3 - 4 years. You don't take advice, ever, you just keep doing the whatever you're gonna do anyway, so what's the point of taking you seriously? You did the same thing with your contest, everyone told it didn't make any sense, you need to explain it better or something, and you just ignored it and told them it was easy to understand.

There is a guy, FacialFreak, who posts regularly on this forum for years that offers hosting for $30/month. If you can't afford $30 a month (1 PPS Sale) for hosting, maybe you should see that as a giant blinking hot pink neon sign, that has a bad transformer so it makes that annoying buzzing sound, telling you that you aren't cut out for this business and need to start looking for a real job somewhere else where all the important decisions are made for you by someone else and they just tell you what to do.

You've been a member here since 2005, 3 years before me. Since my time joining here, I have been an affiliate, ran paysites, made blogs, made tube sites, made avs sites, made TGPS, made free sites, made white label cams, and here you are still asking about free hosted blogs praying for 5 sales a week. IT'S NOT WORKING FOR YOU!!!!!

Panky, a person who makes good money from mainstream blogs which is 1,000 times harder than adult, gave you great advice, & you just ignore it, as you do with almost all advice. Why? My guess is because it sounded like too much work. Well guess what, it is a lot of fucking work. The most important thing Panky said was in the first sentence.

So far today I've made money from whitelabel cams, paysite joins & rebills, mobile redirects, and banner advertising. Yesterday it was only cams, rebills, & mobile redirects, tomorrow may be just rebills. The point is you can't just expect to make money from one thing, you have to put out a bunch of nets and catch every thing you can, analyze what you catch and fine tune your nets to catch more of the same. Free hosted blogs are like the worst possible net you could use.

I have a few really crappy blogs that do nothing more than mobile redirects and make like .20 a day, if I had time and other things weren't working better for me I'd make 50 - 100 more just like them, that's $300 - $600 a month in just mobile redirects. But, the point is, I know they are there, I know what they can make, and it's only because I built them, if i didn't try it, I would never know it's there.

Some keywords my White Labels are on Google's Page 1, some keywords my paysites are on page 1, some keywords my TGPs are on page 1, some keywords my blogs are on Page 1, some keywords my free sites are on page 1, etc etc etc. Yes, there are some people here who make money from just blogs, but they have a HUGE head start on you, already know what works and doesn't work for their particular blogs, & they also have other professional advantages that you will never have, so it's a completely different ball game.

There is no magical answer, the non-magical answer is build a lot of shit and keep building it, build it every where you can build it. When you see that some of the shit you built is working, build more shit just like that shit. Just keep building shit. If you really want to build your shit on free hosted shit, link that free shit to your other shit. If you aren't building new shit, polish your old shit.

You have a ton of old blog content you refuse to use. Use it, it's there, not using it is just ignorant. Make 1 new blog post, use one old blog post, back and forth, or whatever, make 5 new, use 1 old, or 5 old and one new. But whatever you do, also try something new, because whatever you were doing before, didn't work.
