How in the hell can you save a picture from outlook contained within the email. It's a .gif image. If I right click and choose save it wants to save it as a bmp. If I view the source and try the url it's all coded so I can't get to it.

Dunno... obviously I don't and never will use outlook for emails, so I've never had to deal with that particular problem.
I know that IE sometimes does that though. It'll try to get you to save images as BMP when ever the Temporary Internet Files folder gets full.
Usually clearing that and the browser cache clears it right up.

Ya I know about the cache part. But with outlook it doesn't matter, any pic it not sent as an attachemnt it prompt to save as bmp. But I found a solution. I just forwarded the email to my yahoo account lol Now I have to post it. :)

microsoft's ghey. Empty the cache and it will work. I know that shouldn't be the problem, but I had that happen to me before. Once I emptied the temp files it was fine.
