Are you keeping dry in Vegas? According to weatherbug we have all kinds of dangerous water over the road here in Pahrump. So far my house and garage are keeping dry, but my front yard, and the area between my house and garage are turning into swimming pools . :ohno:

Nothing like working on landscaping to create the effect of "fake" riverbeds, and have them turn into real ones.

That'll teach ya. Pahrump, I like that name, it's like the little drummer boy song.

Am I flooding? No, I always buy the proper length of pants. But thank you for asking.

Guess I need to work on my grammar.

Is your house and/or photo studio having issues with water infiltration from all the rain? We seem to be getting only the fringes of the rain here, but Vegas looks like it is getting very heavy rain.

Yo man, why you have to get all up in my shit like dat.

But yeah.

On the rain side, no, no flooding here, but I live in a high elevation area. So I'm just watching the water go by. Foggy as hell, though.

The real irony is the name Pahrump means water out of the rock. An Indian name because of all the springs. No water coming out of my rocks, but it is all over my rocks.

No, don't take pics too much of that part of my yard, because we are not done with the landscaping - aka putting weed cloth down and covering it with a lot of rock. MadHatter and I using shovels and a garden tractor put about 10 tons of gravel down on the backyard last year. It is a lot of work.

Times like this, I wish I didn't have an acre. Not like it is practical to grow a lawn in the desert, so we landscape with lots of rocks.
