August 4, 2010 – Manwin group of companies is ceasing operations of its People Traffic affiliate program.

The management team behind the site is now shifting strategies within the dating division, and placing a greater focus on core competencies. Webmasters can trust in a fruitful future, with the releases of various, and even more innovative products.

The sexinyourcity.com team will remain on board to assist all webmasters in dealing with any adjustments necessary. There will not be any changes to the staff, or with the points of contact already in place.

Please note that the affiliate program tied to sexinyourcity.com will cease to operate in 30 days. All of the site’s affiliates are being asked to pull all links within 30 days.

Webmasters should rest assured that any and all remaining amounts owed to webmasters will be honored, and paid in FULL. All rev share sales revenue will continue to payout until every last rebill has expired.

Hm, this is interresting. Just a while after Manwin purchased Mansef and all the tubes, they close a dating program when we all know dating programs were one of the biggest financial supporters of the tube model since the beginning. This somehow doesnt go well together. What are they up to? Now when they control the tubes, is it enough for them to run the dating program on it without the affiliates? Or do they now finally see how shitty the traffic on full length tubes is and hence see no future with that traffic in relation to the dating model? Makes me really wonder what is this about.

Perhaps a deal has been struck for AFF to work the dating aspect division of the company on an exclusive basis. Depending on overhead versus revenues, I could see something like that potentially happening.

I can't imagine they were running an affiliate program on a white label of another affiliate program. That splits the money too thin. If AFF's involved, I'd think it would be a joint venture.
